Suzuki Bikes

Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) is a Japanese firm which has three fourth partnership in its Indian auxillary, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL). It marked Suzuki's re-entry into the Indian2 wheeler market after breaking with partner TVS in 2000. SMIPL announced their plan to launch premium powered bikes between 125-175 cc in the country few months back. The models will be displayed in the Auto Expo 2008. Suzuki Motorcycle India is ready and eager to introduce premium-powered bikes in the country by the year 2009.

Suzuki Heat

The Suzuki Heat is entry-level bike. It is 125cc bike. With this bike Suzuki is trying to woo the economical buyers with opening option for them to get a more powerful bike. The bike is very stylish. It has the flashy sticker and stylish graphics which run through the length of the bike and the multi-reflector headlamp increases visibility.

This bike has a single cylinder, air-cooled and four-stroke 124cc engine that produces a peak power of 8.7 bhp at 7000 rpm. It also generates maximum torque of 10 Nm at 3500 rpm. On the style aspect, the unique front and under-engine front cowl imparts an awesome aerodynamic look to the Zeus. It is available in two models viz 125X and 125XU.

Suzuki Hayabusa

Suzuki Hayabusa is the most popular model and is now also available as Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 with some modifications from the previous model. The Hayabusa is a hyper sport motorcycle which was introduced in the year 1999. It has a 1340 cc inline-4 engine. The engine was consistently tested as the fastest production motorcycle in the world before the year 2001. The 2008 model of hayabusa is priced at $11,999US Dollars. Hayabusa , the Japanese term used for the Peregrine Falcon, known for its speed. It was introduced in 1999 and immediately it overtook the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird as the fastest production motorcycle that year.

Suzuki B-King
