Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd is a unit of Honda Motor Company Ltd. Japan with 100% stake. Honda is the leading manufacturer of 2-wheelers in the world. The company was initially into scooters. The company sat new standards in the Indian scooter industry with the launch of gear-less scooter, Activa. Thereafter its other products include: Honda Dio, Honda Eterno, Honda Unicorn and Honda Shine were a big hit in the market. The HMSI factory at Manesar, in Gurgaon district of Haryana is spread over 27 acres. The factory was laid on 14th December 1999 and was functional in January 2001, in a record time of only 13 months.

 

Honda Unicorn

Honda Unicorn is the first motorcycle by the company in the Indian market. It is attractively styled and has many cutting-edge technologies in it marking difference with the other players. The bike has powerful 4 stroke 150 cc engine with the output of 13.3 bhp. The engine includes many other high end equipments like Constant Volume (CV) Carburetor, pulse exhaust system, offset crank and 2 way air jacket. Its aerodynamic body lining, sporty and sleek design, tail lamp and excellent body graphics enhance its style.

Honda Eterno (150 cc Scooter)

 

Eterno is a 4 stroke, 150 cc engine providing 60 kmpl mileage. It can run very smoothly in any road conditions. The stability is very much upto the mark. This scooter is fuel efficient and has better hold on sudden pick up. Honda Eterno has been specially developed keeping in mind the requirement of the middle-class Indian who invariably carries his family and also uses for carrying goods on his vehicle. Other features include neutral lock, easy operation of one-direction gear system, etc.

 

Honda Activa

Honda Activa was the first scooter launched by Honda in India. It is specially designed for family and has higher load carrying capacity compared to others in the same segment.
